With the vast number of articles and information fields that exist and are used by you as a stockist, customer, supplier etc., what is needed is a central database with a common search system and a universal structure. Without this, it would be almost impossible to find exactly what you´re looking for. So if you want to find something you really do need Finfo!

We collate, update and distribute information on prices and articles.
Our customers are both the suppliers of article information and those who subscribe to the database. We create the common link and bring suppliers/wholesalers together with their retailers.

You can choose what you want to subscribe to 
More than 1000 customers are signed up to our database, either as suppliers or subscribers.Subscribers receive information from the database based on their own subscription preferences which means that each customer is treated individually and can selectively choose which areas to subscribe to. Subscribers also choose the product grouping, supplier identity, update interval etc. according to their own needs and requirements.

Prices unique to each customer
Alongside the more general article information, we also send the subscriber´s unique net price from each supplier in the file.

Background
Finfo (Fackhandelns Informationssystem) was launched on 1 January 1995 by the trade associations of the construction, paints and dyes and hardware industries, as a further development of the printed catalogues distributed in the past. Infodata AB took it over on 1 November 1996.

Basic data
Typical information fields include: article number, EAN, name, search term, the industry´s product grouping, packing information, logistical data, price, conversion factors etc. The construction, paints and dyes, hardware and furniture industries are our partners at present...!

Simplicity is our strength
Becoming a Finfo customer is easy. The basic idea is as described above: we do the work - once and for all! We distribute all data via e-mail. As a customer, you will be allocated a Finfo mailbox which you can access 24 hours a day.

You will be able to access all the information Finfo holds here, constantly updated. As a trader in the construction, paints and dyes and hardware industries, this is the only catalogue you need.

We have also created links to value-added information available on the internet such as pictures, product sheets, substance information sheets and building product declarations.

Integrated into your business system
To enable you to use our links directly from your business system, we have created the "link forum" concept. If you are a customer of the link forum you will be able to access current substance information sheets, pictures etc. directly without having to surf your way there. Simple and practical, especially for store-owners.
